GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

Discussion

NPCs may want to consider having a grievance procedure to enable an employee to air their grievance with supervisors, other employees or management and resolve any disputes.  A grievance procedure should only guarantee that an employee will be fully and fairly heard, not that the outcome will be favorable.

VA Involvement

Since employees of NPCs must be work in the VA environment and under the supervision of a VA employee, contact the human resource department at the affiliated VAMC facility to determine the discipline and grievance procedures at the VAMC.
