Hotel Accommodations:

All conference attendees are encouraged to reserve sleeping accommodations at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile. Consistent with current hotel industry practices, the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile requires that NAVREF attendees fill a minimum number of rooms each night. If the number of rooms used falls below the minimum, NAVREF will incur substantial penalties and charges for meeting space in the hotel. Please help by planning to stay at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile and by identifying yourself as an attendee at the NAVREF 2009 Annual Conference when making your reservation.

Room Rate: Accommodations may be reserved at the special NAVREF rate of $189.00 single or double plus 15.40% tax ($29.11) for a total of $218.11. This room rate is significantly lower than the government per diem rate of $218.00 for Chicago in 2009.

Cut-Off Date: To receive the special NAVREF rate, you must make your reservation by August 27, 2009.  Rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis until the room block is filled.  Please make your hotel reservations now.

Extended Stays: The NAVREF room block extends from Saturday, September 19, through departures on Wednesday, September 22. For anyone who wishes to spend extra time in Chicago, IL, the same rate is available on a space available basis three days before and after our room block dates.

Fall is a very busy time in Chicago, IL, and many hotels will be completely sold out.  Accommodations at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile are first come, first served until the NAVREF room block is filled.  Please make your hotel reservations now.

Check out: noon

Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours in advance of check-in day to avoid paying a cancellation fee on one night’s room and tax.
