During 2003, NAVREF retained retired VA
attorney George Tady to 1) develop updated sample clauses for clinical
research agreements (CRAs) in consultation with members of the OGC
Corporations Panel; and 2) conduct a workshop
on "Best Practices in Clinical Research Agreements."
The objectives were to develop sample clauses that are consistent with
applicable federal laws and to train NPC negotiators in their
use. The materials linked below are the result of that nearly
year-long effort.

VA Office of General Counsel has not concurred with this model
agreement or the sample clauses.
The Office of General Counsel (OGC)
