DIRECTORS
As a director of the NPC,
each board member must have in-depth knowledge of the mission and programs of
the organization. In addition, each board member must do the following:

Attend board meetings

Actively participate in discussions and bring new ideas and programs forward
for board consideration

Use independent judgment when voting

Set overall the mission and goals for the organization

Set organizational policies

Enhance community awareness and promote the organization

Avoid conflicts of interest and self-dealing
