GENERAL INFORMATION

Program Co-Chairs Cindy Reutzel and Donna Wilt join the NAVREF staff in looking forward to seeing you at NAVREF's 2008 Annual Conference in Crystal City, Virginia, on October 19-22.  If you have questions or need additional information as you prepare for your trip, feel free to call the NAVREF office.

 

On Sunday, October 19, you may pick up your conference materials beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Potomac Ballroom foyer on the D level (one floor above the lobby) of the Marriott Crystal City at Reagan National Airport.

 

Meet and mingle with members of the NAVREF board and other attendees in the registration area beginning at 6:00 p.m.  First time conference attendees are especially encouraged to attend.

 

The NAVREF Annual Membership Meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.  At least one representative from each NAVREF member foundation is encouraged to attend.  If the designated signatory for your NPC will not be able to attend the meeting, please complete the linked proxy and fax to 301-656-5005; email to amurakami@navref.org or bring it to the Annual Membership Meeting.  Click HERE to go to the NAVREF Annual Membership Meeting Proxy

 

Our Welcome Dinner will follow at about 7:30 p.m.  Get to know your NAVREF colleagues and enjoy a buffet dinner.

 

On Monday, conference materials and a buffet breakfast will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m.  The program will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. 

 

If you plan to attend the breakout on Financial Policies and Procedures - Part III on Wednesday morning:  Before coming to the conference, please download the workshop materials and 1) load them onto the laptop you will bring to the session; or 2) print hard copies and bring them with you.  See the 4th bullet and the checklist below for links to the materials.

 

Dress is business casual for Sunday evening as well as the program sessions starting on Monday.
