1.  RCM&D Conference Call on Crime Policies

Please join your NAVREF colleagues for the second in our series of conference calls on “Insurance: A Primer on Policies.”  NAVREF Insurance Program broker RCM&D has designed a series of conference calls to help NPCs better understand their insurance policies.  The first call on directors and officers (D&O) liability insurance was very informative and well-received.

The second conference call in the series will focus on crime insurance policies.  John Mercer from Travelers Insurance will be among the speakers.  Learn about who is covered, what is covered, how to respond if you suspect a crime has occurred and much more.

Human Resources Management Seminar:  The cost of the seminar Elevate Your Human Resource Management Functions is included in the conference registration fee and will not be broken out.  NPC HR managers are encouraged to attend the entire conference to take advantage of the networking opportunities and to gain insights on NPC issues that may affect their HR responsibilities.

3.  Staff Vacation

NAVREF Executive Director Barbara West and Program Director Angela Murakami will be on vacation from June 18 through 28, returning to the office on June 29.  We apologize for the unusual circumstances that have us both out of the office at the same time.

Administrative and Meeting Assistant Sonie Mathew will be in the office 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  If you have a question or issue that Sonie cannot handle and you prefer not to wait until Angela and I return, please contact NAVREF Chair Donna McCartney at Donna.McCartney@va.gov or 650-849-0578.  Thank you.
